Jessica Schmidt-Weil

Jessica Schmidt-Weil Ph.D. is a teacher and completed her doctorate on the subject of ‘Jewish identity and religious education’. 

After teaching at the Isaak E. Lichtigfeld/Philantropin Jewish School for 10 years, she moved to Berlin, where she now teaches languages and ethics at a state school. 

She has also worked as a lecturer in Jewish religious education at the School of Jewish Theology in Potsdam and in the training of ethics teachers in Berlin. 

She has been a representative of the Jewish community in Berlin since 2019 and the deputy Jewish chair of the Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation since 2023.
