Paweł Kaleta

John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin

Rev. Prof. KUL, Dr. Paweł Kaleta – a priest of the Radom diocese, canonist, and university professor, he has been associated with the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin since 2005, beginning as a student and subsequently joining the research and teaching staff.

His research centres around canonical property law and canonical criminal law, examining their effects on the ecclesiastical community’s order and the efficacy of canon law within the state legal system. He has authored several commentaries on the Code of Canon Law, edited by Rev. Prof. Krukowski, as well as the Exegetical Commentary on Canon Law published in Pamplona, Spain. He collaborates with Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Santa Croce in Rome, and the University of Navarra in Pamplona. 

Additionally, he is the author and principal investigator of research grants funded by the National Science Centre and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He is a member of two associations for canon lawyers in Poland and the United Kingdom.
